The Rites of Zhou records dream officials and early narratives preserve political dreams. Dunhuang holds multiple manuals including New Collection of Duke of Zhou Dream Explanations; the Ming Menglin Xuanjie is a large compendium, and Duke of Zhou became a generic label.
